How to read the results
Imports shows how much the country buys of this product from the world; a large number means a large pool of buyers. From Türkiye is Türkiye's reported exports to that country. Large importers where Türkiye's share is less than half of Türkiye's world average share for the product are markets not yet filled by Turkish manufacturers; they are marked OPPORTUNITY.
Choosing the country is the first step. The next is finding the companies there that use your product, and the people who decide (maintenance, purchasing, engineering managers).
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my HS code?
It is on your invoice or customs declaration, or your customs broker can tell you. The first 4 digits are enough for this tool. If you don't know the code, search by product name.
How is Türkiye's share calculated?
Türkiye's reported exports to that country divided by the country's total imports from the world. Because two different declarations are compared, it is an approximation to be used for direction.
